Can I set the date and time to record?
Yes. The Toshiba DR570/DR570KU lets you manually set the clock and program recordings by date and time. You can schedule a recording for a specific day, start time, and end time using the built-in timer recording feature. It also has a One-Touch Timer Recording option that allows recording in 30-minute increments up to 8 hours.
Can I set multiple dates and times to record?
Yes. You can program up to 12 timer recordings per month. It also supports recurring daily or weekly recordings for your favorite shows. Keep in mind that if the unit loses power for more than 30 seconds, the clock and timer settings will be erased.
Can I connect it directly to my TV?
Yes. The DR570/DR570KU connects directly to your TV with several output options:
-
HDMI Output: For both video and audio in a single cable (best quality).
-
Composite Video (RCA): Standard yellow/red/white cables.
-
Component Video: Higher-quality analog option.
-
RF Coaxial Output: Allows signal pass-through to your TV.
Simply connect the HDMI cable (or analog cables) from the recorder to your TV, select the proper input source, and you’re ready to view or record.
