Yes — these speakers can be connected to a Sony flat screen TV, as long as your TV has a compatible audio output.
The Bose Companion 2 Series III uses a standard 3.5mm (headphone/AUX) input, so you can connect them directly to your TV’s headphone jack using a 3.5mm audio cable.
If your TV does not have a headphone jack, you can still use them with an adapter:
- RCA (red/white) audio out → 3.5mm adapter
- Or Digital optical out → DAC converter → 3.5mm
Once connected, just control volume either through the speakers or your TV (depending on the connection type).
They work well as a simple external speaker upgrade for TVs.
