To adjust the display brightness on the Bose Wave Radio AWR1-W1, turn the unit off, then press and hold the “Clock Set” button while using the Volume + or – buttons to increase or decrease the brightness. Release the button to save the setting.
The display also has an automatic dimming feature that adjusts based on room lighting.
If the display is dim or not working, it is often due to aging components or a weakening display.
