To adjust the bass (low-frequency sound) on the Bose Wave Radio IV, follow these steps:
Using the Remote Control:
-
Turn the radio on
-
Press and hold the “Alarm Setup (Menu)” button until you see “SETUP MENU” on the display
-
Press the Tune/Time + or – buttons to scroll through options until you find “BASS”
-
Press the “Alarm Setup (Menu)” button again to select it
-
Use the Tune/Time + or – buttons to increase or decrease the bass level
-
Press the “Alarm Setup (Menu)” button to confirm your setting
-
Press “Alarm Setup (Menu)” again or wait a few seconds to exit
Helpful Tips:
-
Increasing bass gives a deeper, fuller sound (good for music)
-
Lowering bass can make voices clearer (good for talk radio)
-
Changes are saved automatically once set
Note:
Bass adjustment is only accessible through the menu using the remote—there are no physical bass knobs on the unit itself.
