Basic Setup:
Plug the power cord into an outlet
Wait for the system to power on (you may hear a startup tone)
Use the remote to turn the unit on if needed
How to Play Music (3 Main Ways):
1. Using iPod/iPhone (Dock):
Place your iPod/iPhone onto the dock
Press play on the device or remote
Adjust volume using the remote or device
2. Using AUX Input (Most Common Today):
Plug a 3.5mm AUX cable into the back of the unit
Connect the other end to your phone, tablet, or computer
Press AUX on the remote
Play music from your device
3. Using Bluetooth (Optional Accessory Required):
The SoundDock 10 does NOT have built-in Bluetooth
You must use the Bose Bluetooth dock adapter
Once installed:
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone
Select “Bose SoundDock 10”
Enter code 0000 if prompted
Basic Controls:
Power: Use remote or dock a device to turn on
Volume: Adjust with remote or connected device
Source: Switch between Dock and AUX using remote
