es. The Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 can scan images and save them as JPEG files.
When using the ScanSnap Manager software, you can choose the file format for scanned images, including PDF or JPEG. If JPEG is selected, each scanned page will be saved as a separate JPEG image file.
Important details:
JPEG format works when scanning in Color, Automatic, or Grayscale mode.
If the scanner is set to Black & White mode, JPEG usually cannot be selected.
JPEG files are saved as single-page images, unlike PDFs which can contain multiple pages in one file.
