The Sony CDP-CE215 is a CD player only and does not have built-in amplification, so it cannot drive speakers directly.
To use it, you'll need:
- A stereo receiver, amplifier, or powered speaker system with RCA audio inputs.
- A pair of speakers connected to the receiver/amplifier, or a set of powered speakers that accept RCA input.
If you already have a home stereo receiver, simply connect the CD player's red and white audio outputs to any available AUX, CD, or LINE input on the receiver.
If you don't have a receiver, a pair of powered speakers (speakers with a built-in amplifier) can be a simple alternative.
