Yes, you can use the Sony SLV-N51 with a 2025 TV, but most modern TVs no longer include the older analog inputs that this VCR uses.
If your TV has composite A/V inputs (yellow video, red/white audio), you can connect the VCR directly using standard RCA cables.
If your TV only has HDMI inputs, you will need an RCA-to-HDMI converter (sold separately). The converter will allow the VCR's audio and video signals to be displayed on your TV through an HDMI connection.
The VCR does not have a built-in HDMI output, so some type of converter is required when connecting to HDMI-only televisions. We do sell the HDMI converters
