VHS Dry Tape Video Head Cleaner
VHS Accessories
Does this come with instructions? Can you explain how the liquid is used? Does it leave a residue inside VCR? Is there a certain amount of time to wait after using this before putting in a tape? Sorry, it's just that my tapes are old and have images of loved ones that have passed away on them. Just making sure it's safe. Thanks.

Thank you for your questions. We completely understand wanting to be extra careful with irreplaceable family recordings.
Yes, the head cleaner includes instructions. The cleaning liquid is not poured into the VCR. Instead, you place 2–3 drops of the cleaning solution onto the small cleaning pad on the VHS cleaning cassette before inserting it into the VCR. The tape then gently cleans the video heads as it plays for a short period.
When used as directed, the cleaning solution is designed to evaporate quickly and should not leave a residue inside the VCR. After the cleaning cycle is complete, you can remove the cleaning cassette and wait about 1–2 minutes before inserting one of your valuable tapes. This allows any remaining cleaner to fully evaporate.
