No. The LG RC897T sold by Porter Electronics is not a multi-region DVD player.
- DVD Playback: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada) DVDs only.
- VHS Playback: Designed for NTSC VHS tapes (the standard used in the U.S. and Canada). It is not compatible with PAL or SECAM VHS tapes.
If you have DVDs or VHS tapes from other countries, let us know which country they're from, and we'd be happy to recommend a compatible solution.
