Yes, the Sony DVP-NC600 can connect directly to the Edifier R1280DB powered speakers. Connect the player’s red and white stereo audio outputs to either RCA line input on the speakers using a standard stereo RCA cable.
No separate receiver or amplifier is required. Select the corresponding input on the Edifier speakers and control the volume through the speakers.
