Yes, it includes an AC power adapter/charger that allows you to operate the camcorder from a wall outlet without relying on the battery. It also includes the A/V output cable needed to connect the camcorder to a television with standard RCA inputs so you can watch your Hi8 and 8mm tapes.
If your television only has HDMI inputs, you will also need a separate RCA-to-HDMI converter.
