The Bose Wave Radio AWR1W1 has an internal AM antenna but does not have a built-in external FM antenna. However, it does have an FM antenna input (a 3.5mm jack) on the back, where you can connect an external FM antenna for better reception.
If you're experiencing weak FM signals, you can try:
- Using the included FM wire antenna (if available) and plugging it into the FM antenna input.
- Extending the power cord—since it acts as an antenna for FM reception.
- Using a third-party FM antenna with a 3.5mm plug for better reception.
For AM signals, moving the unit to a different location or rotating it can help improve reception.
