Connect your device directly to this unit. While playing the media, the unit will record it simultaneously. You can access the manual for this unit at the link below
Source: Most new TVs can connect analog units through the coax port, which often supports both analog and digital signals. If the coax port does not support both, you can use an RCA to HDMI converter as an alternative solution, which may work just as well or even better.
